Vikan Hygiene System®

Hygiene depends strongly on cleaning. The cleaning process must ensure that bacteria from one department are not moved to another department where they could spoil a finished product. These requirements are some of the reasons that Vikan hygiene system® is developed. All products in Vikan hygiene system® are available in five colours. Some are available in six. This means that Vikan’s colour coding system can be used to improve hygiene within the company. By dividing the company into a maximum of six color zones, you can prevent tools being moved from one department to another, therefore avoid transferring bacteria from one department to another.

Vikan makes fully colour-coded professional cleaning tools. Both the filaments and the base are in the same colour. The colour of each tool is thus clearer, minimising the possibility of error. And if an accident should happen, its cause can be traced with extreme ease.

A critical control point in the HACCP system is cleaning, and in our experience the HACCP system can be improved by optimal planning of the cleaning. If the company is already using the HACCP system, it’s a good idea to supplement it with colourcoded cleaning implements.
